6 Music

I am devastated that the BBC is planning to axe 6 Music. I'm a devoted listener and licence fee payer and really only use this service of the BBC. Surely we should have some say in what gets saved/axed, me for one could do without all the period dramas, skating celebrities and Chris Moyles, must be a few million saved straight away. I actually invested in a DAB radio and iPhone app just so I could listen to 6 music, all this on top of the fee.

Thoughts anyone?

I think they should keep 6 Music and axe Radio 3, which has a small listening audience apparently and classical music can be found elsewhere, whereas 6 Music is unique.

Thanks Tizz, only just noticed I got an answer, I totally agree, classic fm is brilliant for that classical music, I listen to it from time to time, very soothing ha ha. 6 Music is so unique, the kind of music played on there is so eclectic, it would be such a shame to lose a brilliant station.
