I have to do all the bloomin' ppw and admin. in this house, and I had to do it all for my mother as well. I have made a rod for my own back though. I have always done it, ever since we married. It's Mr LL that will be in a total muddle if he is left alone. He's a really intelligent guy with a brilliant brain, but ppw is not his forte. Mind you, it does mean I can do what I like with our money, he doesn't ever look at bank statements. I do both lots of taxes, his correspondence, liaise with insurance companies etc. Secretary supreme!!

(I couldn't bear to let him do it - I am a control freak!!)

Shaney hasn't come back. I shall be unable to sleep!!

Good morning all. Yes Jude, I was definitely affluenced last night and it did me good. Dogs had a lovely long frosty run around this morning and are now asleep and I will be too soon. laters all, have a good morning.

Morning biddiewiddies, wow an inebriated woofy, whatever next? Woke up to bright sunshine and now it's gone all dull and cold.

We have an accountant to deal with all the taxes cos it's not simple here being foreign and self employed, I do all the other ppw for the house, but it is all so different here. Nr N keeps his work to himself unless I have to chase payment and do emails but have no idea of the money side of it, and this worries a bit cos if anything happened to him, I wouldn't know if he had money in advance for work, or if anyone owes him money. He is very careful with money so guess he has it all written down somewhere. I am ornamental rather than functional... (I wish!!)

hello again! That's a rather posh cake slice Robi...I don't really do cupcake because of all the disgusting gooey buttercream. I am more the seedy cake and darjeeling type.

Neti.... it's a Nadal / Djokavic final on Sunday in Australia. Murray didn't let himself down he took Djok to 5 sets and played well but just not enough to win.

oh, forgot the moan du jour...I've dot a cowd id be 'ed. Not too bad again at the moment, it keeps coming in waves. It's probably what some of my head pain's been about...fetched some buttercup syrup so that'll be my tipple at bedtime. :o)

Did anyone see We'll Take Manhattan (drama about David Bailey and Jean Shrimpton) on BBC4 last night? It got mixed reviews but I enjoyed it. I don't know if it's available or being repeated.
