As confirmed, Ms Waissel is a 'celebrity' but not a 'star', there is a massive difference.

The former is famous for being famous, the latter is famous for having provided some valuable art for pubic enjoyment.

Ergo - Chloe Kardashian is a celebrity, Mick Jagger is a star.

My nephew must be a star then. He played one of Ritas' paper boys 35 years ago in Corrie. Then he played one of the Rogers in the C4 schools programme, How We Used To Live. It was the series that featured the spy scandal in the early 60's.
