Bit of fillet steak and chips. Onions and mushrooms maybe a fried egg too.

Lightly fried bacon bits, throw in some fresh chopped leeks and spring onions and a few knobs of cauliflower. Top off with a cheese sauce. Loads of black pepper.

That sounds like an excellent idea, Dustypuss, but I don't want to miss the final of Strictly tonight. We're booked to go out next Saturday with family for a Christmas meal.

I like the sound of cauliflower cheese and jacket potato. I know someone who would moan though if there was no meat on his plate. Perhaps a steak would go well with?

I've no idea. Daughter and her partner are on their way down from London...so it's out for a meal whenever they get here...which might be late.

I've already eaten some Chicken Nuggets Tesco.... even though cupboards freezer are stocked from delivery yesterday, keeping it a bit steady, barely eaten last couple of days (Being a tad poorly) but it maybe something posh like a pot noodle.

I couldn't be bothered to spend time cooking so raided my freezer backup store and had a ready-made Mini Luxury Roast Turkey Dinner followed by ditto Christmas Pudding.

So now Christmas Day will be boiled beef and carrots🤣
