There was an excellent documentary on the TV this weekend telling the story of an animal conservationist (Greg Rasmussen) who crashed his micro-light plane in the African bush when tracking a tagged Rhino, he flew too low and stalled to plane. He was stuck with two broken leg for over 27 hours and at night the wild animals including Hyena & lions tested Greg to the max. Does Anyone out there know when this programme will be repeated or if there is a dvd on sale? It was FAB!

I love this series, it is called ALIVE. I have sky-plussed all the series. I watched this one this afternoon, it was great. At least we know before the programme starts that they survived ! but it is still very good T.V. A similar one was a light aircraft with about five passengers crashed in Botswana, and two men started to walk for help, a miracle they reached someone and all surved.
