are women ?

Are women getting more promiscuous than they used to be ?
Is there a rise in the ladette type of behaviour or is that just a muth?
Have they slowly got easier and easier since the swinging sixties and the summer of love ?
Or have they always been repressed ladette sex crazed minxes just dying for a bit of the boaby ?
Discuss amongst yourselves.

If you had my dear young boy, you would realise the world and its history is rife with promiscuity, innuendo and general goings on - mostly by the female of the species. Perhaps you didnt understand the subtext and inert sexual frustration amongst Brontes prose or Shakespeares Acts.
I am wondering whether your supposition is just wishful thinking.

Just one example skyep.
Hamlet: Shall I lie in your lap?
Ophelia (slightly shocked): Ay, my lord.
Hamlet: I mean my head upon your lap? Did you think I meant country matters?
Ophelia: I think nothing, my lord.
Hamlet: That's a fair thought to lie between maids' legs.
The use of the word country and its hanging emphasis in line delivery, was not unintentional. Innuendo and bawdiness were the delight of the Elizabethans, since most plays before WS were religious. Shakespeare spiced it up a bit. The randy sod!

There is a media perception that 'lad-ette' culture (?) is on the increase, and given the increasingly depressing culture of drinking to be drunk, there will certainly be ain increase in the number of girls who are incapable through drink by the middle of an evening.
I think the advent of the Pill certainly opening up (sorry!) possibilities for young women to have sex where and when they chose, but a couple of generations have grown up with that situation as the norm.
I would suggest that promiscuity as such has probably levelled out - but immature behaviour lasts longer - into the mid-twenties and early thirties these days.

I don't think women are more promiscuous now, but I do think they are more vocal about it!
It's not kept behind closed doors as much! But lets not forget that if women are having it and talking about it more, then there are men who are also having it and talking about it too!
To coin a phrase "It takes two to tango!"
