Christmas!! Love it or hate it!!

Well,what do you think about the follow up to Christmas then? I know it's a bit early to think about it.But,I just wondered what everyone's comments are these days. I think that this year,everyone will be feeling the pinch,and watching how they spend their hard earned money. I have a funny feeling that most shops will see their sales drop a bit this year.It seems that Christmas is getting far too commercialised these days.Big shops will want their employees to work longer hours to make up their profits. I don't really enjoy Christmas nowadays.There is so much hype on the run up to the actual day.Then,it's all over after Boxing Day!! It seems that when you're grown up,you don't feel so excited than when you were much younger as a child or teenager. Don't get me wrong though,I enjoy Christmas Day with my brother and his family.It's nice when we all gather round the dinner table to enjoy our Christmas roast. My brother's two kids seem to bring more fun into the festivities.That's what Christmas is all about really,isn't it?

We had Christmas cards in early September this year in the card shop in our town!!!! Unbelievable!!
I'm sure we will have Easter eggs very soon for next year!!

I am in 'bah humbug' mode also.....I look forward to a nice meal with my daughter...but all the commercialism,the constant hipe to buy,buy,buy......is just awful. We have lost sight of what it is all about. Of course...we all complain every year....and nothing changes. Even worse,this year.

Absolutely love Christmas at the old hall (which was built for christmas) with all the family there, which is brilliant. HATE the fact that it starts in September!!! Went to my local court on Tuesday and already a local charity had put Christmas cards in the advocates room. I am not interested until about the 15 December. Until then, I just do not want to know.

Last few years ive bveen home in scotland the first fortnight in december and its crap.there are folk pushingand shoving in asdas and morrissons for the xmas essentilas that mary and joseph couldnt do without eh ?



voddy , whisky , 3 cdases of lager for 20 quid and trolly loads of chinese toys that the kids cant survive without




im glad on the 14th to get back to the reef to normality

Christmas is only great when you are spendin it with your love ones, else.. its nothing... its like Mr Bean with is Bear lol.

Work are already organising our Xmas do!! we are having about 3 xmas do's!! only because our team deals with several projects and controlled by different project managers.. so they are treating us :)

x oh i also forgot... Christmas is also good if you are receiving pressies. not giving!! x

I love xmas,and i aint no spring chicken .but they do bring it on a bit early.I think the credit crunch is going to bite,but it will be after xmas when peeps will be even further in the Mire..! Perhaps if everybody didnt spend so much on prezzies and enjoyed the xmas trees,the lights ,have a few drinks and plenty off grub and enjoy having Family round and friends
and good ole chats round the fire,dont turn the bloody TV on!!!!! But please dont play any xmas songs till december..graaaaa!!!!(:O)the killers (*_0)
