I am watching this series with mixed feelings,obviously they need to keep their culture alive but oh those awful wedding dresses have to be seen to be believed ! Dare I ask where all the money comes from ?

it's exactly how it came across B00, those girls were 6 years old but were dressed and danced like tarts, which the film makers focused on over and over again which was obviously to send out some sort of observation, and that was mine. the way that girl in the pink dress and her mini version the sister had to clomp up the aisle like diables elephants was ridiculous and lookes awfful, no grace or charm just looked like she was kicking the dress along, pathetic attempt to be something they were not, they certainly can't do glamour without a fight

What do you mean she's on a good number? She doesn't say how much they cost because if she did they wouldn't use her again. There's nothing to say that she isn't legit.

It is true btw...I wouldn't call it having high morals though. If they put it about they won't get married...if they don't get married they have no one to support them. They are raised to be a wife...and aim for nothing higher.

A aprt of me quite likes the morals they have amongst themselves. However it's horribly sad that if a girl wan'ts to do something, other than being a houesewife, she's more or less cast out by the family.

Also, i'd be more tolerant if they paid bills, taxes and NI like the rest of us have to!
