I've searched the lyrics and it's lead to other Q and A forums where people have asked the same question , with no definite answer . One of the questioners was fairly sure that it starred Ray Brooks - so if it wasn't " The Big Deal " , it could possibly be "Running Wild " or "Growing Pains" - both of those starred Ray . Do either of those ring a bell?
I've tried to find clips on youtube but the search is complicated because in both cases there are identically-titled American TV shows , and also both are the names of pop groups .

hiya....the other person looking for the same answer as me is wrong...ray brookes wasnt in the programme it was a british sitcom in the 80's not an american programme...and again i state ray brookes was NOT in it
