I just watched his last appearance on Celebrity Antique Road Trip with Tessa Sanderson, during which he was taken ill and shortly afterwards died. He was such a lovely man and so little was said of his death, sorry shed some tears there.
He's been on ART and other programmes such a lot lately - I was almost glad when Tim Wonnacott announced tonight that he's no longer with us. I know they have to show the programmes but nobody mentioned until tonight that he had died after filming.
Yes sibton. I think it was a couple of weeks ago, at the end of a Bargain Hunt. There was a five minute tribute to him that I caught. A montage of his lovely smile and laughter.
We saw a programme of Bargain Hunt some time ago that said he had passed away. They must be filming them some time in advance. He was indeed a charming gentle man. And such a lovely sense of fun.
He was on a pre-recorded "FLOG IT" a couple of days ago, looked the picture of health, and as always was charm personfied. Will be greatly missed. One of the best.
There was a lovely tribute on Bargain Hunt to him a few weeks ago, it was such a jovial programme, they choose it so well - which showed his warm personality and great humour. They did a great tribute at the end, showing his appearances on Bargain Hunt.
