My second big disappointment of the week after The village- it was awful:(
Do you remember the original series, sharingan?
The end made absolutely no sense. They kind of lost me at the bit where it was discovered the guy had chopped his own head off.

I used to love Jonathan Creek, but this episode was utter tosh.
>>>What a load of old nonsense

Well, I can't disagree with that. However I've always found JC to be rather pleasant nonsense, combining mystery and comedy. I particularly enjoyed the self-mocking references to 'not believing that things like that could happen in the real world' ;-)
I thought it was 'easy' watching, has never really been a deep and mind provoking series.
Some of them we have quite a few on DVD and I liked the idea behind them but I thought this was pretty dreadful.
The way Alan Davis sleepwalked through his role suggests to me that he had his doubts about the story as well.
Drivel from start to finish! Another hour I'll never get back.
I went into the kitchen to avoid it, I've now got Jack Dee on somethingor other with that maniacal laugh of his, there's really no excuse for that is there?
I forgot it was on, I've missed it now. I used to love Creek's old series when he lived in the windmill.
Very disappointing.
Characters not explained.
Bloke in wheelchair?
ayg, you can see it again on iplayer but if you enjoyed the old series don't bother with this one.
I was so disappointed with this episode, so far fetched :( Such a shame as it used to be such a good programme and I always had a thing for him when he had more curls and lived alone in his windmill lol.
Used to really enjoy it but tonight's was awful. Sheridan Smith had lost all of her sparkle, all a bit tragic (and I only watch trash tv, so my threshold is v low).
Think I'll give it a miss vulcan seeing as no one has said a good thing about it so far. (Besides I can't remember how to turn my iPlayer on)
Hmmm, well it was ok, but not as good as past episodes. I see I'm not alone being completely confused by the final part, I thought I'd nodded off and missed something.
Was very disappointed with it : (
