Roy and Hayley's cheese on toast moment at the end of tonight's second part was quite touching.This was certainly better than the stupid racist plot with that crap actor who plays the fireman and also Nick Tilsley for whom on the side of his script is written one frown or two.

I found it incredibly moving tonight. Roy was just being Roy, he can't help it. I feel it's going to be a long hard time till Hayley dies.

I agree. I was hoping that Hayley wouldn't be killed off when I heard she was leaving, but she obviously doesn't want to return. Julie Hesmondhalgh will be missed and I suspect I will need the tissues ready at the final scene!

I nearly needed the tissues last night. God knows what I'll be like by the time this storyline is over. As she leaves at the end of the year, I expect they'll be planning the death scene for the Christmas episode. Merry Christmas everyone!

So moving last night and so beautifully acted, even though I was so angry with Roy at one point. Gosh, we're going to miss Hayley.

That racist storyline is just getting more and more ridiculous - I thought Sophie was supposed to be a forgiving type .....

racist story absolutely pathetic - wasn't really a racial slur. And that poo faced Jenna, what a cow. Oh I am so mad at that family, and stupid sophie, ooh now I am all het up again. What Paul said: Ok maybe these days it is not PC but was always a saying when I was growing up, and he didn't even say it to Lloyd, why would laid back and Mr Cool Lloyd get so upset, as I pointed out in another thread, Lloyd and steve were immitating the Germans earlier on in that episode taunting Eileen - pot kettle!!
