Not a believable pairing by any stretch!

I DO realise, obviously that women of a certain age DO fall pregnant and have children, BUT, sometimes these soap storylines are just ridiculous!

It does happen that women stop using contraception because they believe they've gone through the menopause only to find themselves pregnant.
The average age for menopause in the UK is 51, this means that many women are a lot older than that.

I don't have a problem with the storyline.

curlyperm, because a single instance in a soap is there to develop the storyline.

If Corrie was typical of an everyday street in Greater Manchester nothing much would happen for years. We'd be watching people watching tv, cutting their toenails, bickering about nothing. This is a soap, it's supposed to be dramatic, OTT and larger than life. If you don't like it, don't watch it.

The storyline is not unbelievable. I've read about women far older going to Italy for treatment to get pregnant. Erica is undecided about keeping it.
