I've just watched yesterday's edition of Countryfile. Curious about one point - the rubbish in Clovelly was taken DOWN the hill. I would have thought it would be taken up the hill and then taken away. Does anyone know what actually happens to it?

There is a route down to the side of the harbour for authorised vehicles. They run a land rover for visitors that can't make the hill for instance

I've just looked at it on Google, and it's a lot smaller than I imagined it was.

I'm surprised they haven't have the Google Streetview on a backpack down there.
