I am really enjoying the BBC's Decline and Fall. I know it was made and filmed in Wales,

But can anybody say where the school scenes were filmed ? it looks a bit like Gelli Aur :::

Thanks Emmie. The scene of the suicide was obviously Southerndown, near Ogmore-by-Sea.

I half remember reading it years ago.
Is there a character with one leg called Grimes on it?
