Had a "girlie" night at the local cinema to see Mamma Mia, here I go again. Didn't have high expectations as I didn't particularly like the first one, but I really enjoyed it. Glad my grandaughter persuaded me to go.

I did not enjoy first movie or musical in London - thought it was awful so wouldn't put myself through it "again".
So pleased you had a good night together Maggie.x
Some love it some hate it mrs v said the 1st one was cringeworthy ..awful..
I'm looking forward to seeing it. I don't care how sickly sweet it is.
Hope you enjoy it tilly ..glad you did Maggie x
Glad you enjoyed it Maggie.
I couldn't get into the first on. Didn't do anything for me. So put off seeing latest. Glad all those that seen it enjoyed it tho..
Cannot wait to see it Maggie there is a group of girls going from work so it will be a champagne night, so rather raucous.
Went to see this tonight with four granddaughters. Thoroughly enjoyed the music. The plot was a bit confusing as there was lots of flashbacks to original film but using different people. Donna had died and the young girl playing young Donna was so like Sophie I didn't know who was who. Meryl Streep did come on in the last 15 minutes as a spirit. Cinema was full to bursting.
Afterwards OH met me and we went for a Chinese meal. That was a nice finish to the evening.

Mrs B. and Tash have been to see it, loved it.
I liked the first one (the film, haven't seen the stage version) so I'll see the sequel sometime.
You didn't go balders? ...does your mother know!
I haven't seen them but it's good to hear what a good time people have had seeing it.
Mrs av and our youngest daughter have Mamma Mia on dvd, I haven't watched it yet ( side stepped that ), I can't get over James Bond singing Abba songs !.

Yes flying home Monday.
Tony, lol!!!! Not a macho thing eh!!!

Shaken and stirred by that, Sharon ;-)

Have a good journey home.
Daughter also bought me the cd from the film.
Yes!! I can listen to it in the car.
Will Mr Caran be in the car, Caran ?.
Definitely not. He is not a Mamma Mia fan. Also I can't sing with him in the car.
Saw the first one, & enjoyed it but why would I want to see same story with different actors ?
