The Wall With Danny Dyer- A Rubbish Prog. With An Even Worse Compere

Why was Danny Dyer ever plcked as the host of this rubbish quiz. Uneducated and has problems pronouncing the words properly and at times standing there with his hands in hjs pockets. Why are such vast amounts of money could be won on this bbc quiz yet they only offer £1000 per prog on Eggheads and Pointless.
On ITV in 1955 Double your Money had the top prize of £1000. We have not moved on very much

I watched about 10 minutes of it and that was enough. I couldn’t agree more about Danny Dyer - his voice sets my teeth on edge!

I watched twenty minutes of the first one and couldn't stand it. He is awful for all the reasons you say and I haven't watched it since. Just so you are warned, his "Who do you think you are?" Is repeated on Thursday this week.

I do actually like Danny Dyer He's funny for a cockney... I paid attention for about ten minutes watching that drivel quiz.

Regarding Angela Rippon, I think it's wrong to say she's wasting her time on it. Everything she says points to her words having been recorded elsewhere, probably in the comfort of her own home. I really don't think she's anywhere near the studio when this is recorded. If you listen carefully, she says things like "Good luck contestants" and never refers to them by name or even "she" or "he". It strikes me as a nice little earner if Angela can do this without leaving the house. The whole pathetic series could have been done in one go.

They were recorded, all in one go, quite a while before the show aired. Dryer explained this in an interview I heard.
