Did anyone watch the programme featuring Dawn French last night. Was out and only caught the end but was intrigued. Her name might have been Maggie? Think there might have been an actress in it who used to be in Eastenders?

Hayley from Corrie was in it as was the pub landlord. A very easy watch which could be called the Dawn French show - I think she was on screen virtually the whole time.

Watched it, as for liking as the next best series since Doc Martin, no way Hosay!. Apologies, have veered from your original question Maggie, but Dawn French has never rocked my boat. My Prediction....this will be the last series.

I thought the scenery was fantastic but the rest of it was just a load of boring rubbish!!!!

I haven't see this but the last lot of old toss she was in about some hotel was drivel.

I tried getting into it but couldn’t , I really like Dawn French but it was like the poor mans Vicar of Dibley without the funny bits

That's almost what i was planning on saying Bobbi. So now I don't have to! I lost interest almost straight away. I thought it was awful.

It was OK. Some of the dialogue was quite amusing, and yes, the scenery is beautiful. Anyone know where it’s set?
But whatever I’ve seen Dawn French in, she always seems to play herself.

I agree. I like her. She's a great comedian, but a poor actress.

I stuck at it for 10 minutes and that was 10 minutes too long. Disappointing.

I loved Dawn and Jennifer Saunders together. Off subject, but Jennifer is an excellent actress.
