Does Philip Serrell set out to deliberately buy rubbish on Bargain Hunt?Just watched an episode where he lead his team to get a tatty old suitcase and his bonus but a set of 19 jugs for £100 that struggled to get a bid. What has happened to Paul Laidlaw?

Many years ago a friend of mine went on B/H. She said that everything was chosen for the contestants, but then when they were on tv they had to pretend that they had chosen them themselves. I never watched it after that.

That wouldn’t surprise me one bit hellywelly4.
I only watch it when Natasha or Christina are on but I'm very shallow.
i'm no expert but i new that a load of brown jugs for a hundred quid was a big mistake . . .
not watched it since they fell out with Tim Wannacott.

Yes agree about Christina Trevanian but cannot
stand Natasha.Eric Knowles presentation skills are definitely D-
Well that'll save any unpleasantness should we double-date. :-)
//Eric Knowles presentation skills are definitely D-//

Well "Knocker" is from Burnley tha knows. Ecky thump!
Phillip Serrell and this awful scarves he wears, what a scruff bag. And everything he buys is”cool”. Can’t stand Natasha either, too big for her boots. I like Christina though. But does anyone really buy antiques at auction (or anywhere) nowadays?
And Tim Wonnacott’s voice…. Sounds like a right snob.
does anyone else go weak at the knees when christina trevanion laughs?
Has Doris not noticed you do that yet?
i always make sure i'm sitting when bargain hunt is on . . .
Smart lad ;)
//And Tim Wonnacott’s voice…. Sounds like a right snob.//

A pretend snob - proper toffs do not mangle their words as he does.
Phil Serrell has always worn a scarf but for many months the scarves became wider and longer to hide the colostomy bag which he had fitted.

Tim Wonnacott was well educated, son of a Major, and did a post grad course at the V & A Museum - do you expect him to sound like Danny Dyer?
