morning, Saturday and the weekend starts here. I hope that you are all as well as can be and that your day is a pleasant one. Do you have any plans for today?

I am meeting up with a friend for coffee this morning, apart from that i have no other plans.

today's forecast for the capital is a lowly 17c but sunny apparently.

had all my tests done at the hospital yesterday and was in and out in an hour, the only problem was the traffic on getting home, choc a block all the way. London is getting clogged with endless bicycle lanes being built, and new fibre optic cables being laid.

Well Em once your new knee is working properly you may consider using a push bike, who knows..

i would never ever cycle in London again, i used to back in the day, but traffic is too high and busy, it's a nightmare

i am ok, knee hurts but that's par for the course.

many cyclists don't obey the rules and ride over red lights, cycle on pavements, and made worse now by e scooters, e bikes, that break the law. I wouldn't cycle here now, much too dangerous.

That's a shame, cycling is a non impact form of exercise, good for knees and hips.
And it can be fun trying to dodge the idiots ;-)

i feel i am too old to take it up again, and as i say it's a dangerous thing to do.

don't know what's on the menu, i have a food shop coming at 8-9 this morning. and have a number of choices.

i hope Sanmac is ok and posts on his recovery. Very worrying to have that fall and not go to hospital.

update !! doc phoned me about 9am yesterday asked me to go down to the surgery.. have more antibiotics an inhaler and a contraption to make the inhaler work better too..3 lots of blood taken and referral to hospital for x ray and ECG !
