60's Sci Fi puppet programme
Does anyone remember the name of a 60's Sci Fi puppitronic show, where in the credits one sees a transport thing moving througha tube from one building to another? It was in black and white (at least in the UK) set on Earth but something to do with space.

Gerry Anderson was fabulous, and Thunderbirds was the culmination of his stuff - then he spoiled it and started putting real people into his series. Space 1999 would have been terrific, if only he'd cared more about what his actors actually said and less about bangs and fireworks!
juliacornwal - there was 'something' called Joe90 - also Stingray. Fireball XL5 was made in black and white, I think all of the rest of Gerry Andersons stuff was shot in colour but as Britain didn't have colour TV until the late 60's (and we personally didn't get a colour telly until the 70's) anything you watched in the early or mid 60's was in black and white. Oh - and Captain Scarlet was after Thunderbirds and was EXCELLENT. The puppets had proportionally correctly sized heads unlike Thunderbirds, Stingray etc.
