What's this TV show from the 80's?

It's driving me mad, it was a kids show and there was a girl and boy in the circus, although I think they might have been running away from the circus, and the girl had had an accident on the high wire and hid the scars on her face. Does anyone else remember this, I cant think what it was called!!!

Was it Travellers by Night, where they stole a circus elephant they believed was about to be put down?

If it's any help, Travellers in Time starred Jude from Casualty and Tracey Beaker (Lisa Coleman) and Neil Morrissey from Men Behaving Badly.

They were acrobats.

It's never been released on vhs or dvd. But you can get the book, same title, written by Vivien ******.

I think it's better to keep most favourite old programmes as memories. They always seem very disappointing when you watch them again.

Thanks for that, do you know of any website that would have stills or pics of the show, just to put a smile on my face! I cant find any but im made up to have been remembered that it was Travellers at Night - I am so grateful

I have looked and looked - and failed. I can find little pieces of boring information like the name of the director, but no pics or stills.
