It is driving me mad and I cant find a cast list on the BBC site.

When i saw it i thought that it was Jack Ellis who played Jim Fenner in Bad Girls, i looked in the credits at the end and he was played by a guy called Norman Eastley.

Yes, Norman Eshley was the snobby neighbour in George and Mildred - he played Tristan's dad.

Yes he was the fence the teenager took her stolen things to. James Bolan planted the phone and she pinched it.
