old tv program

there was a tv program from the 1970's (in nz) Cant remember if it was UK or USA it was about a girl who used to draw pictures (not a cartoon - not charlie chalk) then a night she was there in her dreams. She drew a picture of a boy in a bed and she didnt draw him properly so he couldnt walk . each day she drew things and each night they were continued in her dream. She drew a bike and some round things outside and the round things were like big boulders that mumbled, that kept getting closer and closer to the house and they had to escape on the bike, pretty scary when you r 10 but no one remembers it
