I literally couldn't sleep for hours after that finale, trying to work out who was in the coffin! All I know is: it's someone who he doesn't consider a friend (from what he said to the undertaker), I'm pretty sure Kate said, "why would I want to go to HIS funeral", which means its a guy, and it would have to be someone that would make jack contemplate suicide on hearing about their death. The obvious choice would be locke or sawyer, however, there are 3 more series, each having 16 episodes, so it may be someone like jin (or even bernard!) who hasnt really come into the program...yet!

I'm going for Michael as we haven't seen or heard about him since he left. Walt was "back" so maybe Michael comes into future episodes and they don't forgive him for betraying them.
Could be anyone though, mines just a hunch.

yes, I think it could well be michael! the thing with it being ben is that i don't think jack would be that upset. I'm going to go for michael as well

I'm going for Ben for this reason.

Jack is upset about who ever has dies and I think that it is Ben becasue Ben told Jack that he should not leave the island, which he obviously goes against. Resulting in him alomst comitting suicide. Maybe Jack feels guilty for not listening to Ben whilst on the island?
