I've recently re-discovered The Walker Brothers music which my parents used to play when I was a child.
Scott Walker was absolutely gorgeous !!!!! Makes me wish I'd been an adult in the 60s!
Anyone know if he's married or has been married ?

If you google Scott Walker loads of stuff comes up.Don`t know if hes married though.John is,his wife sings with him apparently.

No,i won`t be.I was thinking,wouldnt it be great if The WB`s got back together?I think though,that Scott & John fell out years ago.

It would be great Lez but as far as I know Scott is something of a recluse now - dont know about the other 'brother'.

Oh,you mean Gary the drummer.He`s still about,doing albums.Do i sound like i know what i`m on about?I was still an egg when they started out.I do like The Sun aint gonna shine anymore,makes me come over all goose pimpley.

there was a documentary on scott just a couple of weeks ago, bit of a recluse, doesn't like talking about the walker bros, till making music but a bit weird. he was a good looking bloke in his day but like all of us he's got older.

according to SCOTT WALKER: A DEEP SHADE OF BLUE by Mike Watkinson & Pete Anderson, Scott first proposed to Irene Dunphy in the mid-sixties who turned him down because she thought he was "so unstable at the time".

He did marry Mette Teglbjaerg, a Danish fan, in 1974 and they have a daughter Lee who is now 34. they divorced within two or three years of marrying, partly due to Scott's constant attentions from fans.

as the book was written in the early 90s and the copy i have has an afterword from 1994, it is not widely known if Scott is married now (though googling recent news artciles relating to his new album and Imagine programme may possibly help).

Thanks Maddie's Mum. That was helpful. Dont know why I'm interested in whether Scott is married. Maybe I feel he is something of a lost soul. I feel the same about Robbie (tho I dont find him attractive at all) and wish he'd find a nicve girl to settle down with.
