I must have lost the plot in this weeks Silent Witness. Just who was the murderer? He only seemed to appear in the second episode and then I couldn`t figure out his connection.

It was the solicitor who acted for the travellers who killed the girls. They trusted him because of his profession.

Nikki found out and that's why he tried to kill her.

I'm not surprised they left it till last, it was certainly the least entertaining episode of the series - in fact I kept dozing off last night!

I thought the plot very contrived. Why would she have gone to him after being chased by the policeman instead of going to the police. I also think it odd that a forensic pathologist would tell a mother that her daughter was dead; that they go all over the place interviewing possible suspects. In one episode Nikki went to take a DNA swab - wouldn't a 'minion' do this or the police? They all need to lighten up!!
