"Inigo Pipkin" featured an old man. Soon after the actor playing the part died, the series was re-named "Pipkins".
Inigo Pipkin was a puppet maker though, it wasn't set in a junk shop.

"Pardon My Genie" was set in a shop, but I'm not sure if it was a junk shop.

What year are we talking Jendouba? The above mentioned were 1970's.
