Hi, can anyone help as this one is hard! I remember a programme that I thought was really scarey in the 60's- I was about 5 at the time- It was in black and white and had a man who wore a cloak and top hat but had distinctive rosey cheeks. Of what I can remember he was trying to kill a young girl. It may have been the "Play for today" programme and shown on a Friday or Saturday night. Thanks

Could it possibly have been from "Tales of the Unexpected"? Although they were 70s, not 60s, but it might be worth Googling and having a look at the episode lists.
