How old is this kid ? or is she in fact a robot ?
She never speaks and why on earth does she have to be carried everywhere ? In one episode Steve carried her to Jim who then carried her back to Steve who then carried her to Liz.......who then carried her to Michelle.
Why ????

Gonna make a carry on film maybe? does look a bit silly though, great big lump.
I remember this cropping up when TJ in Emmerdale was smaller and was carried everywhere. Turned out it was something to do with insurance but can't remember exactly what.

Yes you could be right horselady............and I think they have to be paid more if they speak !
think Steve should take her to speech therapist .she is dumbo quite right.
It's the same with Sarah in Emmerdale, doesn't make a sound and is carried everywhere.
The new Sarah in Emmerdale walked & talked last night.
You are a horrible lot. Amy and Sarah are such pretty, dainty little girls.

Now if I was being mean, I think I would mention the now-departed-from-Corrie-blob! Do you know who I mean? This child was bigger than the mother...
it is to avoid having to do too many camera angles and to ensure she is in shot at the right time.
That's annoying me now Cetti , Who do you mean?

reckon she means Sara-Louise taking her giant daughter (Beth) to Italy!!
Yes, you're spot on Maggoty.....I was trying to be as kind as possible, so didn't mention her name ;-)
Aaah yes , see what you mean :o)

Apart from it being for entirely practical reasons such as camera shots and insurance (a tv set is full of cables and equipment) I think it reflects real life.

Go to any supermarket you will see children that are far too big for the baby seat of the trolley sitting in the trolley itself - children up to 7.

I see 3 and 4 year old in pushchairs.
