Is it me or are the "students" getting older?
The average age tonight appears to be about 47.

They were all post graduates I think - not like the old days.

I've noticed that whereas in the past, teams tried to answer questions as quickly as possible, nowadays I'm sure some teams (like the winners last night ) use delaying tactics when they get bonus questions, so reducing the number of questions the opponents might have a chance of answering.

Paxman doesn't really stop them doing it, he just starts shouting.

I would have been very frustrated if I'd been on the other team last night

Its cos all the PhD students do it now...you're unlikely to find a bunch of freshers in there.
