What were the script writers thinking?

David Platt, his girlfriend and his mate from prison trash a kitchen at night, make lots of noise, set fire to it in the front garden and no neighbours come out to see whats going on.

Also, Platts mate goes in the garden shed, finds some petrol and a torch, how convenient is that.

What a load of crap.

I agree with you - what a load of rubbish. Corrie is really going down the pan lately. What a shame as it used to be so good.

Two doors away from me on a main road . Van pulls up around 8 lads get out , kick and batter the front door in , in the house one old lady (approx age 72 ish ) 2 lads in there twenties. The person they wanted was not living at the property. The old lady was told not to move and was unharmed, the two lads got smacked about a bit.

No neighbours came out, the police were phoned while the attack was in place and turned up 3 hours later.

Still find it hard to believe. Welcome to the real world

I agree with nogginthenog. This sort of thing does indeed happen in real life, and if you live somewhere where you think it is unbelievable, then count yourself truly blessed.
