Does anyone know the name of an old music hall performer who started his act with a routine with his hat, rolling it around his body and on and off his head before throwing it onto a hat stand. He then went on to a routine with his jacket, taking it off and on, turning it upside down and inside out, his third routine was with an imaginery piece of gum whiich he couldn't get rid of.
George Carl - an absolute genius. I first saw him on TV in the mid 1970's and have never forgotten the act. Total brilliance which has never been equalled. He died in January 2000 and apparently his son is performing his father's act although I have been unable to find any information on this.
