I'm a Swede living in Sweden but we do get to see a lot of your British drama series and shows, Parkinson being one of the popular ones over here as well. I was just wondering, how is he and has he been up to anything interesting after the final Parkinson show?

But if you could rustle up a few men like John Nettles , Michael Kitchen and Neil Oliver I could make an effort and possibly polish my nails and titivate my tiara .
I would have cast the odd stitches on by the thumb method Kit but that other method looks better.
Cold here and dull ,3c real feel 1c arthritis index low .
I think I'd better go and do something constructive .
I need to interview Mr S about the sardine and Chai tea situation .

He's actually rather nice Robinia although not very tall .I managed to get him to sign my book in Wyevales when we lived in Morden .I had a bit of a job getting to him because he was overwhelmed by some large woman who kept running on about her fuschias ,but of course once I'd fluttered my eyelashes he was a goner ..and he signed my book ..To Jacqui,much love Alan ...kissie kissie ..hahaa.......

Been to school today doing my bit. The kids are getting used to me now as I see the same ones most weeks.

My colitis seems to be clearing up now but I have to go for a CT scan on Friday just to make sure. I'm quite nervous but Hey Ho. Have to go. I have to starve myself from ~Thursday all day to Friday 3.30p.m. There'll be nothing left of me as I have lost a stone on this bl**dy diet. Mind you I am getting used to it now and I have to admit I feel quite fit.

Morning all...sorry you had a bad day Kit, hope you don't feel wiped out today... has your weather changed, it looks better on the webcam? It's lovely here at the moment but there's cloud heading this way...I really oughta totter to ye olde shoppes but my head's spinning, I think I need stabilisers.

All the best for Friday Jude, that's a helluva long time to go without eating...can you have a drink? Here am I feeling miffed 'cos I've got to go for a twelve hr (overnight) fasting blood test, that's more than long enough without a cuppa. I'll go tomorrow....maybe.

Poor jude, I can't stand all that fasting, as Robi says the midnight one is bad enough, although our blood tests are done at 7.30 - 8.00 in the morning so not too bad.

Am staying in today which is most unusual for me, am just want to keep eating (boredom). Actually I may go for a trot!
