I'm a Swede living in Sweden but we do get to see a lot of your British drama series and shows, Parkinson being one of the popular ones over here as well. I was just wondering, how is he and has he been up to anything interesting after the final Parkinson show?

Well booger that for a game, the sun came out so I thought I'd snip some dead stuff off in't garden but it's freezin'. Arranging my tins in alphabetical order seems like a better idea.

some colleagues of mine went over there on an exchange visit (our manager at the time was Swedish). They said that the standard was amazing but very costly compared to NHS funding. They said that the booze was dear too!!!

I have been moving furniture today which is guaranteed to make me feel better...still don't want to eat which is unheard of for me but happily the flu type symptoms seem to be passing. Mr went out in a grump so i thought "s** him i'll sort the house out how i want if he doesn't like it he can move the s*****g furniture" but then he texted me so i have forgiven him.
I have sorted things so the boys can come and go through the french windows in the kitchen which are about 6 feet along the same wall as the usual door which opens into the living room. I then shut the living room french windows to allow it to warm up from the sun. Pup number one catches on straight away, pup number two has to be called in FIVE times through the open door before he stopped scratching and going crazy at the closed one....I despair I do really
Keep you chin (and your leg) up Shaney and go easy Kit.

Morning all. It started off a bright sparkling morning but it has gone cloudy now. Hope you are all as well as can be with all aches and pains not too bad. I have stopped eating until after 3.30 tomorrow afternoon and I would just love a bowl (Ijust wrote bowel by mistake Ha Ha Ha) of porridge.
Hope you're feeling better Kit.

Oh yes I saw the snow in Spain on the news yesterday! Just in case anyone's forgotten what it looks like... http://news.sky.com/s...201003215570919?f=rss
We might be in double figures at the weekend, yay!
Well I've decided that when I arrive home with my shopping I'll open the packets & fling it on the floor...it'll save doing it at 11pm. Okay, so it was only raisins last night but have you got any idea how far they bounce... and roll under the washing machine...and crawl off into far flung corners?....Don't ever shine a bright torch under your appliances at that hour...trust me, you won't sleep.

Yes I know there was snow there which is why I so desperately hoped for some, but typically the sun is out, the sky is blue, there's not a cloud, to spoil the view!! 9º!!
Cats croquettas go everywhere when spilled (spilt doesn't look right) and that's just when the car has gone off of them and won't eat them. Agree with not looking under appliances, reckon I've got historic relics under mine. How strange to have washing machines in the kitchen, we have a special room with all things laundry in it, except that mine is outside so can be a nuisance in the rain!!!! but great for when machine breaks down and floods, mine just floods into the garden!

Well would you all like a good laugh. I took the medication to make me go this morning at 7.30 and proceeded to go to the loo more than regularly in fact very regularly. The post man arrives at about 11 and I receive a letter from the Consultant personally signed, I might add, to say he had cancelled the scan as he had read the notes and he didn't think I needed this investigation at the moment He even said best wishes at the end.. I rang my sister to tell her the situation and she fell about laughing which I'm sure you all might. I have now had a big bowl of porridge and toast and am looking forward to a dinner later.
Have to go .........again......... bye for now x

Oh bl00dy hell Jude, I bet you're not laughing...but you're probably relieved (in more ways than one)...do you need any imodium....or a cork? :o) And don't go out....!!
The kitchen's a bit better now, I've done my best & I'm krackered...the cooker moves easyish, the freezer's got space underneath so it doesn't get too bad...but the washer's got no chance, whatever's under there beyond about 3" stays there. There's a lovely spider in one of the corners neti, says he could do with a break in Spain! :o)
