renault modus, thinking to buy one,do you think it's a good car?

mu husband drove his pal's renault modus for a day and was quite impressed, he thought it was very economical.i googled and found out they are not very expensive, well, second hand ones.
do you think it's a good and reliable car, thanks in advance.

The Modus is a great little car. While overpriced when new, they are cheap as a used car. Probably the low price for a used one has to do with Renault ranking at the bottom of last month's WHICH! magazine car brand user satisfaction survey. Top was Skoda, ahead of Porsche.

If you get one, make sure it has the 'shopping chute' on the tailgate. Was a £200 option when new, not quite worth that in my book but on a secondhand car would sway it for me.
