1 Viva HB
2 Viva HB
3Escort Mk1
4Escort Mk2
5 Cortina Mk 4
6Astra Estate x 4off company cars
7Toyota Carina Estate company car
8 Focus Estates x2off company cars
9 Mondeo Estate current company car.
And the favourite Mk 4 Cortina I saved up hard for that one!

Ford Cortina Mk 2 Estate
Triumph Dolomite Sprint
Austin Allegro (don't ask!)
Vauxhall Cavalier
Volvo 440GL
Ford Mondeo
Nissan Almera
Nissan Micra Tekna(my current car, latest type)

My favourite was the Dolomite Sprint, comfortable, very quick for its time. Embarrassed many a Ford Capri GT 3ltre! Had to sell it due to financial woes. It's still running and now a classic car.
the present one that is now given a rude name which am too embarrassed to repeat on here; X is a clue
Of mine the favourite was the Fiesta XR2 by a long way, I fully stripped that car down to a bare metal bodyshell, got it seem welded and then built it back up with new, upgraded, parts, built a fully balanced, lightened and flowed engine for it with high lift cams, stainless exhaust system and a couple of side draught webbers. ended up with a car that weighed about 700Kg and made 170+BHP but still looked pretty much standard... I had fun shocking drivers of "performance" cars in that little thing :)
Just noticed the Austin Allegro in Slackalice's list.

Still remember the ghastly choice when my dad said "Do you want to borrow my Marina, or will you take your Mum's Allegro" - talk about the devil & the deep blue sea ...
Austin A30 - cost 28 quid, was a year older than me, had three gears and jumped out of second. Scared the wits out of passengers.
Ford Prefect
Morris Traveller
Ford Escort
Citroen (can't remember exactly what)
Citroen BX
Peugeot 309 (company car - I hated it)
Vauxhall Cavalier (company car - better)
Ford Escort (stop gap after left job with company car)
Cavalier 2L 4WD (nice)
Polo - stop gap after Cavalier finally died. Wouldn't start - big mistake.
Vauxhall Astra
Mitsubishi Carisma - too small for OH, who is 6ft 5ins and couldn'T drive it comfortably
Audi A3 (current car. Favourite).
I went to view a S/H Capri in Aqua marine and fell in love. The guy was asking for £1000. After driving it for 15 mins I offered him the asking price. He decided he now wanted £1200. As much as I wanted it I felt he was taking the pi$$ so I walked away.
In order and including work vehicles:

Vauxhall Victor 1800 FE Estate (known a s The Tank)
Hillman Imp (great fun with the back window open on a sunny day)
Ford Escort Mk3
Vuxhall Astra
Ford Escort Mk3
Ford Escort Mk4
Ford Granada Mk4
Rover 820
DAF 2800 ATi Spacecab 4x2
Vauxhall Cavalier
DAF 95 400 Spacecab 4x2
Ford Mondeo Mk4
Ford Mondeo Mk5
Ford Escort van
DAF 85 CF 340 8X4
Ford Connect van
Volvo C70 CC (could watch the roof go up and down all day!)
DAF 85 CF 340 8x4
Ford Connect van
Mondeo Mk6 Estate
DAF 85 CF 410 8x4

Think thats the lot.
well in my life with my husband we have had
Romeo the rover
Esther the ford escort
Frank the Fiat Doblo
Bob the ford ranger
Heinz the BMW Estate
Dora the Land Rover Disco diva
Bikes
Cee Cee the CCM
Jinny the Jinlun
Bessie the BMW bike
Crikey, here goes....
Vauxhall Cavalier Mk1 1.6GL
Ford Escort 1.6L ( wrote it off when 9 months old- oooops)
Ford Escort 1.3 Automatic ( god I hated that car)
Fiat Tipo (with LED dashboard in 1988!)
Peugeot 405GL
Mini Metro (company car - no choice- hideous!)
Citroen ZX (used to service it myself)
Volvo 460 (embarrassing)
Volvo V40
Volvo V40
BMW 325SE
BMW 535 sport tiptronic (a beast)
Lexus 420 (made me feel like a Russian drugs baron)
BMW 320d Coupe (probably best all round car I've had)
Seat Toledo 1.9SE (sold it with 198,000 on the clock)
BMW Z4 3.0 current and awesome.
Had at least 30 cars over the years, got a Subaru Impreza now and it's the best car I have ever owned. Permanent 4 wheel drive, go's round corners as if its on rails ! Before that were 2 Volvo Wentworth Turbos , real wolves in sheeps clothing !
"got a Subaru Impreza"
Somebody lent me one for a day. Fantastic round the country lanes of Sussex. Problem was, the only time it was legal was when it was stationery. Took my son for a spin, and he was sick.
The car I have now, 1999 BMW E36 Auto Coupe, For Reliability.
I forgot to put on my list our Subaru Impreza WRX. THE Best car in the world. If I won the Euro Millions, I would order one, but in the 2003/2005 shape. I don't like the new bodywork.
Apart from my first car all my motors have been Fords of various models and marks, but my first was something special, a 1966 MGB Roadster wire wheels chrome bumpers the whole business. In '70 I let the bitch queen I eventually married pursuade me to sell it and I've regretted it ever since, to this day it's still the only car I've cleaned and polished on a regular basis. I saw one in the local Tesco car park the other week fully restored looking absolutely immaculate the sort of motor you can't help yourself you've got to stop and look at and it didn't half bring the memories back, but as Trish said " A beautifull motor but if we got in one now we'd have send for the RAC to get us out"
Today we took possession of our sparkly new Citroen Grande Picasso, a very nice motor, just the right size to get the hounds in the back. Cant get used to the "no hand brake" thing though!
