My first car was a red Triumph Herald convertible. I loved it. It went well with my long blonde hair (and my eyes of blue)

Gawd blimey Iv'e lost count sibton, but the one that sticks in my mind ( cus I loved it ) was a 1970 Ford Capri MK 1 3000 GT XLR it was a flying machine in it's day, loved that car but unfortunately the dreaded tin worm got to it in the end :-(

BMW 530, what I own now, it's lovely to drive, very gutsy.

Oops read that wrong, though it's still my fav. I've had Renault 5, Golf, Escort, XR4 (that was lovely, and very fast!), Mondeo, then Beamers.

First car was , a dark green voltwagon Beetle. Bought for £150 in 1978.
Sold it yrs later for same price, and it never ever let me down!
Best car ever for me.

Well i've only had two cars! My old Ka and my new Punto... The Ka was so fun to drive! It was like a wee gokart! The Punto is just that little bit more powerful and i'm learning to drive it with the same gusto as the Ka!! haha!

It was worse than the fiat127, the Morris Ital estate and the fiat strada I've owned!

(I've also owned a Marina TC.. that was fun because it went everywhere sideways!)

Favourite car, Peugeot 309GTi to which I installed the engine from a 16 valve 405m16. 170bhp at the flywheel, which was nice.

Ratters, that's an amazing list. I started off with a pristine second hand Ford Anglia, graduated to a MGB Midget, Ford Escort, Ford Capri (same colour as the Saab in your avatar Tony, with a black roof), various Citroens and Peugeots (one of which I loved and is still going strong) and now with a Honda Civic 2.2d (which scares the hell out of me)

I've had 2 Capri's almost that colour sibton, The MK 1 I mentioned earlier and a MK 2 2 litre Ghia I have also had a Black MK 3 3 litre Ghia.

Favourites :

Renault 5 Gordini - mad as a box of (french) frogs - insanely quick, but prone to not starting

Toyota Celica GT4 - elderly but amazing - burnt oil like a good 'un though

Mazda 3 mps - still got this - the fastest hot hatch on the planet

Lemons :

Volvo V40 - what the fluff was I thinking - awful

Honda Civic Type R - very quick, but terribly uncomfortable


but I'll always vote for my Honda ZL1000 Varadero :)
