Hi i have a seat leon petrol which is coming up on 70,000 miles i have no idea if it ever had a timing belt changed should i get one and any idea on price?

Depending if you take it to an dealer, private around £250, replace the belts whilst you get the job done.

It should be done every 70k or 5 years max. If it snaps thats your engine ruined. Your choice....
