Oops!! Help Please...

I have 14 plate Mitsubishi ASX...only had it three weeks. I went to plug my charging cable into the usb port under the arm rest. I do not know how it happened but the usb seems to have 'sunk' under the plastic that 'held' it. Is there an easy way to get it back through or have i got to take it to a garage? Many thanks in advance!

Is your USB port the same as the one in my link, PurpleParis ?
if it is then I suspect that the console will have to be removed so that the USB socket can be put back properly.

You could probably do it yourself, the console will only be screwed down.
