What is the law regarding wing mirrors? I currently have no driver side mirror but have ordered a replacement. Is it illegal to drive without a drivers side mirror? Thanks

it is best to get them fixed asap? becouse if the police think your car looks scruffy they might pull you over. I would recommend replacing it asap ok hope that helps
Assuming that your car was first registered on or after 1 June 1978, then it is illegal. You must have two mirrors. One must be an external one on the driver's side. The second can be either an external one on the passenger side or an internal mirror.

The police stopped me for the same thing and made me drive straight back home and not to drive it anymore. They even followed me there to make sure.
