I have been offered a 'w' reg 1.2 Fiat Punto - but apparently the P.A.S. is not working - any ideas of fault, cost to repair? Thanks

Another posting about Fiat PAS? Sounds like it may be a common fault. If so, I bet the people on a Fiat forum know the answer if no one on here does.
