my cosa won't go into 1st 2nd and reverse it started by being a bit erratic going into 5th but now 1st 2nd &reverse are totaly gone

You probably need a new gear linkage fitted.

Might just need adjusting - the linkage that is.

paula90 most likely correct. Get linkage yourself and take it to a non franchised dealer. It will be a lot cheaper.
