why does my corsa seem to be in high gear on starting up ,but if i switch off then restart almost straight away its ok
prev can i change my name by deed poll to match my cars registration?
  
next i have smoke coming from the oil filler cap

i take it that you mean it revs faily high when you start .
this is probably because of the automatic choke or cold start mechanism that cars use nowadays

no i mean that it accelerates like a tortiose and it feels like its in top gear , switch off, restart and its fine , i have just replaced the bulb in the instrument panel which signifys sport mode this also flashes
