If you go to a ford dealer they will give you the code. They will also do a security check to make sure that you own the radio.
I am not saying that yours is stolen - but it is too easy for people to get radio codes this way - which is easy for radio theives and defeats the reason for having the code.
If you contact the dealership where the car was first registered they may have a record without consulting the ford computer (in which case it is usually not charged for).

Norman - you are the idiot for giving the code. As I said - the point behind codes is to lessen the likely hood of a radio being stolen. If any Tom, Dick or Norman gives out a radio code then that makes the theives more likely to steal the radio - as a coded radio has a value, while one without a code is just scrap. I know this is obvious but normanthemoron needs things explained.
Would you give out the codes for your alarm system or entry control in the same way?

Norman is not the daft one. What actual value do you think ford keycode stereos have? There worth practically nothing and if i was a car thief i wouldn't risk getting caught with one. If he didn't give the code it can always be obtained over the internet for a fee.

tubeway,have a look on ebay,they sell the cd rom for all ford radio codes on there for a couple of quid.
