i found a puddle of water in the footwell behind the drivers seat under the carpet dont know where it came fas there there are no water stains down the inside of the car and the seats are dry. has this happened to anybody else

Hi is it a mk 2 punto W reg on if so they had problems with the sealing of the welded joints on the front bulkhead, and the only way to fix it is to remove the dashboard

its on an 06 plate

maybe need to get the dor seals looked at it could be water leaking in from there and settling in the footwell

Check the water drain holes in the bulkhead!!! are they clear of leavs Etc?? T.W.R.

We had a similar problem with an old Citroen. The drain holes in the sunroof were blocked - it soon cleared up when we saw to it. Check all your drainage holes, particularly if you park under trees like us.
