bleeding the cooling system?

hi all,any1 any ideas on bleeding points for the cooling system for a puegot 106 k reg 1.1,only rad was leaking thats sorted with some rad weld,topped it up now the heater blows luke warm,not cold,but not as hot as before,or any other ideas,ps im thinkin of givin it a total flush through,and put some a/freeze in if no joy,but sure its an air lock,thanks in advance.

sounds like your thermostat.

you need to watch these rad weld treatments they can also block radiators, block heater matrix and cause the thermostat to jam

yeah kinda thought it might be thermostat,ill get 1 put in,and see how it goes,thanks for your replys.

Just to add March make sure you get the System properly bled on your car pugs DO NOT LIKE TO BE SHORT OF WATER sorry about that but if you leave this engine short of water it will cost you one hell of a lot of money.
