I have just taken ownership of a Rover 45 advantage and need to change the front wheels over, as they have directional tyres,, and are on the wrong way , but they both have locknuts on each wheel, I have no key for them, is there an easy way to remove them or get hold of another key, thanks to anyone who gets back to me ....

Hi, best bet here go down to Halfords & ask their advice on the Wheel Locks.
Most tyre fitting companies are able to get locking wheel nuts off, at a price.

They will destroy them in the process though.

I think one way is to hammer an undersized socket onto it.
This doesnt help remove them....
Id look around the car ie boot but most car dealer ships put the locking nut in the ash try...
Or contact the previous owner they may have it..
