to keep or to sell...

I have a 6 year old Alfa 147 and I love it but its value has sunk (as all cars do) and I can't decide whether to keep it or look for a new one. there's nothing wrong with it, but if anything should go wrong it'll be expensive, and then I'll be stuffed! I can't decide whether to part-exchange while it's running well. I know selling privately would be financially better, but that's too much hassle for me.

and I don't have a pot of money to just pop out and get a new one, btw!

any advice?

No I was thinking bout the car which sits high up on its wheels and when you cut the engine it slinks down again. Duno why I thought it was Saab

Hi weeal - that's a great view you have from your window! I think that you may be thinking of an old model citreon that used to rise up a bit when you started the engine- my boss about 20 years ago used to have one - cant remember what it was though.
Check it Weeal 15! you know Toyotas are great cars,The worlds no1 car company, and top in customer surveys!
Hi annie, yeah that was probably it, always thought it was an unattractive feature. God time flies, never knew it was that long since I saw one haha

So you like the view then? yes its very European eh lol

right off to do some much required housework
and some shopping, in my Toyota!

Citroen BX and Safari i think annie!
p.s. I broke my all time record this year and have done 3,700 miles and still a few weeks to go until the end of the year for me. I have a super stylish renault clio - lol - I recently checked the average speed on its computer thingy and it comes to the grand toatl of 19.2 mph - bearing in mind that the car has been down to Edinburgh and Perth from Stirling a few times, it seems that I spend most of my time crawling around the carpark at 10mph.
p.s. sell - then you have the comfort of the warranty on your new car for a few years.
OMG stompe, so it is 15 and Im paying 185
Why's that then?
correction mind is 210 !!!!!!!!!!!!! wtf
