My dad used to have a Vauxhall Cresta when i was a small kid, It rusted and rotted in front of your very eyes !.
A google image search brings up loads of piccys, but they all seem to have single headlights, except these which I think are a later model

thanks for the links but neither of the two has twin headlights when it first came out it had two small headlights either side mimicking the usa style at that time but for some safety reasons it was altered to single headlights later
Question Author
not mistaken zac this was the first cresta model we used to "gorp" at it on the way home from school 1960
Well deggers you have me fooled I used to get a lift to school in a 59 Cresta was my mates Dads and brand new can only remember it having single headlights as in the posted links photo of Zacmasters
There's a twin headlight version as a small pic here http://www.vauxhallcrestaclub.co.uk/

If that's the one then maybe there's a bigger picture somewhere within the site.

well jg96 i'll give this up
it was the 59/60 cresta with fins and oval rear lights
i was at that time very much like all other kids into most things american this was such a step forward in car design but it did have small twin headlights and also a chrome hood over each light unit, i never saw another one like this so it could have been a one off (well it was pink and green)
thanks for all your help fellas
You could try asking on one of the Cresta clubs or forums, plenty of them if you google, here's one of them...

They've all got single headlights that I can see, only the Victors, Viscounts, Venyoras and VX 490s had twin headlights and dated to 67 onwards?
It may have been a short lived Ford Classic or Capri (61 to 64) but these did not have oval back lights they had two (three?) single fittings,
